Angela H. Sanders Presents at Risk Management for Landlords Seminar

On May 24, 2012, Angela Sanders presented a seminar entitled “Risk Management: Top Ten Legal Tips for Landlords” at the Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership’s (LHOP) first Landlord Forum. The event focused on strategies for landlords to minimize risk and protect their interests, and provided an overview of Pennsylvania landlord-tenant law. Angela is currently a member of LHOP’s Fair Housing Committee and has been involved in developing the Committee’s Landlord Forum Series which aims to provide landlords with educational opportunities and a forum to share ideas and troubleshoot problems.

Angela H. Sanders and Jill M. Laskowitz were part of a team from the Young Lawyers Division of the Lancaster Bar Association that participated in the YWCA’s 2012 Race Against Racism. The 5K race was held on Saturday, April 28. Proceeds raised during the event help fund the Lancaster YWCA’s racial justice initiatives, which include a school-based anti-bias curriculum for children, study circles, and workshops about how to counteract the ways racism infiltrates everyday life.
