Aaron S. Marines

Aaron is a shareholder of BB&T. He spends the majority of his practice working with condominiums and homeowners’ associations. Aaron assists many existing associations in all aspects of their operations, from collections to construction issues to complicated revisions of their governing documents. In addition to serving existing associations, Aaron counsels many residential and commercial developers and builders with land development or subdivision issues. Because he sees how the developers’ initial plans will affect the owners in the future, Aaron has a unique ability to see issues that his clients might not consider. Aaron is a frequent instructor on these types of issues, addressing property management companies, attorneys, realtors, developers and association boards.

Aaron began his professional career as a chemical engineer. He calls on this background for a significant amount of his practice in environmental law and health care law. Aaron’s practice may range from counseling clients on complex state and federal remediation of contaminated property to helping a dairy farmer manage manure. In the health care field, Aaron counsels clients including medical practices, hospitals, governmental institutions and retirement communities on the complicated issues of regulatory compliance.
