D. Mark Grimm, Jr.

Mark is a shareholder of BB&T.  Mark counsels businesses and individuals in a wide range of business related matters.  Many of the businesses are family-owned or closely held companies.  In counseling these clients, he acts as “in-house counsel”, learning not only the client’s business, but also the client’s objectives, outlook and owners.  Mark’s understanding and knowledge of business came at a young age from his father, a talented business executive and entrepreneur.  Among the many areas of Mark’s counsel to these clients, he counsels on buying and selling businesses, business start-ups, financing, real estate, business agreements, business succession planning and day-to-day business affairs.

Mark’s extensive experience in buying and selling businesses and business start-ups coupled with his tax knowledge enables him to provide comprehensive but results-oriented advice.  Mark is co-author of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute book Buying and Selling A Business and has given numerous local and statewide seminars on buying and selling a business and business start-ups.
